About The Artist:
Alex Chadsey's wide rythmic context provides him with a unique musical sensitivity that lends to his mystique and sound. A gifted pianist, esteemed music educator and wunderkind of the global jazz fusion band, Duende Libre, Chadsey's talents have allowed him to perform all over the globe, including Mexico, South America and Europe.
He's played on the award-winning album, imaginaries (Smithsonian Folkways) by the LA-based band Quetzal and has received various awards and grants from the City of Seattle as a pillar of the Seattle music scene. Chadsey will be drenching our sound bath in ambient sounds and soothing cords compliments of his piano.
